The Godfather (1972)

The Godfather (1972)The movie, which is the head of the Corleone family, one of the biggest mafia of America, describes the process that Don Vito Corleone (Marlon Brando), nicknamed “Father”, took his hand from all business lines and raised his sons one by one to deal with these works.

It all starts with Don Corleone, one of the most respected mafia leaders in America, by not participating in the drug business and confronting other mafia families. This opposing stance will of course be the result, and Don Corleone suffers an armed attack. Luckily, he survived, but his attack brought harm to his name as well as his physical. On behalf of the Corleone Family, Sonny, the eldest son, begins to run the business. When Sonny’s over-frustrated state starts to harm the family, Sonny also comes to an end. The only person who can take over the family is the youngest son, Michael Corleone (Al Pacino).

Michael Corleone spends his life away from his family’s business and shows his difference as a differently trained leader than anyone in the mafia world. Using his intelligence and confidentiality, he ensures the birth of the Corleone Family from ashes on “Baptism Day”.

It is necessary to say that the expectation is high and initially disappointing, as it is the first film of the Baba (The Godfather) series, which is one of the movie legends. However, the film shows how well he deserved the glory and success he had with his last hour of episodes.

It is great to see the youth of the master artist Al Pacino, who is in the lead role and is only 30 years old when the first film was made. There is so much toy and a different Al Pacino on the screen that we can see the current version only in a few scenes from the facial expressions … Do not miss the movie which is very interesting and rated as the second best movie ever with an average score of 9.2.
